State of the Industry in Rights Management

 
This 4 hour course reviews the business needs around Rights Management across the media supply chain and the state of the industry around needs and offerings. It describes what contract rights management consists of including different rights dimensions and their use and the differentiation from Digital Rights Management (DRM).  It also reviews different needs and workflow surrounding rights management – using examples from distribution and windowing to TV Everywhere.  Discussion of the available technology is covered as well as how ideally it intersects with Media Asset Management and content syndication.  Review of some of the product offerings is also covered.
